We had the privilege of working on a remarkable project in beautiful Lake Arrowhead, California. Renowned Newport Beach Interior Designer Kathy Hobbs entrusted OM Drapes and Design with their lovely vacation home, and we were thrilled to bring their vision to life.
Our team worked closely with Kathy Hobbs to curate a selection of window coverings that would enhance the home’s stunning interiors and complement its breathtaking surroundings. From luxurious drapery to stylish woven shades and innovative Hunter Douglas Vignettes, every detail was carefully considered to achieve a harmonious balance of style and functionality.
To address the home’s unique needs, we also installed a beautiful valance and exterior motor shades. These additions not only provided privacy and light control but also added an extra layer of sophistication to the overall design.

Master Bedroom
Hunter Douglass Vignettes – were the best option for the Master Bed, with blackout liner which offered both privacy and a good night’s sleep. We complimented the bedding with a couple of custom-made dawn pillows in an embroidered fabric.
Downstairs
Valance – Plaid valance was installed in the Family Room for a cozy but elegant finishing touch. To protect from the sun, a motorized exterior shade was installed just outside the sliding door.
The plaid valance was carefully selected to complement the existing decor and color scheme of the room. Its timeless pattern added a touch of classic sophistication while infusing the space with a sense of comfort and coziness. The valance became the focal point, tying the room together with its stylish and eye-catching design.
Downstairs Outside
Recognizing the importance of sun protection, we also installed a motorized exterior shade just outside the sliding door. This innovative solution not only shields the room from harsh sunlight but also offers convenience and ease of use. With the touch of a button, the shade effortlessly adjusts to provide the desired amount of light and privacy, allowing the homeowners to fully enjoy their space.
